Why Stories? – Because some Stories are Eternal
When I think about ‘Ramayan’, I always this it as one incredible story. After thousands of years since Ram took birth on this planet, all the material things he touched or were related to him in some form or the other are lost. Now what is left is his story. The story is told repeatedly again and again for generations together. The story is so living and eternal that this story can make a difference in somebody’s life. The story gives hope to somebody to meet Ram again. The story is so powerful that it can still do miracles for you and can take away the burden of life from your shoulders. The story of Ram – ‘Ramayan’ itself is living Ram amongst us.
We were fortunate enough that we were able to see Swami Chidanandaji with our own eyes. We have seen his physical body. The body that he discarded in the year 2008. But whether the death of his physical body stopped his work? No. He always started his speeches with the line, “Radiant Immortal Atman!”. He always wanted us to know that we are all immortal, and so he is too.
He still lives in the thousands of stories that are still there in his disciples’ minds—the experiences and incidents and occasionally miracles performed by Swamiji for all of us.
We don’t want these stories to die, but these stories are worth spreading and passing down the generations to come. So, come and share your story/incident/experience about Swami Chidanandaji with the others. Submit your story today. चिदानंद कथामृत
मैं अपने गुरुमहाराज स्वामी चिदानंदजी के सभी भक्तोंको अनुरोध करता हूँ कि आप अपने जीवन में गुरुदेव चिदानंदजी के बारे में जो भी लीलाप्रसंग या अन्य घटना‍ओं का अनुभव किया है वे प्रसंग या कथा‍एँ मेरे निम्न दिये हु‍ए वेबसा‍ईट पर भेजें। आप इनको मुझे ई-मेल से भी भेज सकते हैं । मेरा ई-मेल भी नीचे दिया हु‍आ है।
कथा‍एँ ही क्यों? जब भी मैं रामकथा के बारे में सोचता हूँ तब मुझे लगता है दो युगों के पूर्व भारतवर्ष में हु‍आ एक आदर्श राजा आज भी भक्तोंके हृदयसिंहासनपर विराजमान है क्यों कि ‘रामायण’ यह उसकी कथाके माध्यमसे वह अमर हो गया।
जगज्जननी सीता की पवित्रता सर्वसामान्य अयोध्यावासियोंतक पहुँचाने का काम स्वयं रामने नहीं किया। लेकिन वाल्मीकी ऋषिद्वारा लिखी ग‍ई राम कहानी का गायन जब कुश लव करते थे तब अयोध्यावासी रो पडते थे। लोकापवाद के कारण भगवान राम को अपनी प्राणप्रिय पत्नी का त्याग करना पडा यह सुनकर उनका मन अनुताप से भर जाता था। यह है कथा का सामर्थ्य!
माँ सीता जब अशोक वन में बंदी थी हनुमान उनकी खोज में वहाँ पहुँचे। उनका वानररूप देखकर शायद सीता माँ को विश्वास नहीं होता कि वे रामदूत हैं। परंतु हनुमान ने पेड़पर बैठकर मधुर वाणी में रामकथा का गायन शुरू किया और बादमें रामकी मुद्रिका उन्हे सौंप दी। उनकी कथा सुनकर ही जानकी को विश्वास हो गया कि यह रामदूत है। यह है कथा का सामर्थ्य!
इसलिये आ‍ईये हम सब मिलकर स्वामी शिवानंदजी के कोहिनूर जैसे शिष्य स्वामी चिदानंदजी की कथा‍ओं का वर्णन करें। स्वामी चिदानंदजीने अपने इच्छापत्र में लिखा था कि, उनकी समाधी किसी भी स्थानपर न हो और मृत्यु के उपरांत कुछ ही घंटों में उनका शरीर गंगामैया में विसार्जित किया जा‍ए। लेकिन हम सब मिलकर अपने गुरुदेव की कथा‍एं लिखकर उनका अविनाशित्व आनेवाली पीढियों के मन में भी दृढ करें।
कथा का? – कारण काही कथा शाश्वत असतात
जेव्हा मी ‘रामायण’ बद्दल विचार करतो, तेव्हा मी नेहमीच ही एक अविश्वसनीय कहाणी आहे. या ग्रहावर राम जन्माला आल्यापासून हजारो वर्षांनंतर, त्याने स्पर्श केलेल्या किंवा त्याच्याशी संबंधित असलेल्या सर्व भौतिक गोष्टी काही प्रमाणात किंवा इतर वस्तू हरवल्या गेल्या आहेत. आता उरलेली त्याची कथा आहे. ही कथा पुन्हा पुन्हा पुन्हा पिढ्या एकत्र सांगितली जाते. कथा इतकी जिवंत आणि चिरंतन आहे की ही कहाणी एखाद्याच्या जीवनात फरक आणू शकते. कथेतून कुणाला पुन्हा राम भेटण्याची आशा मिळते. कथा इतकी शक्तिशाली आहे की ती अद्याप आपल्यासाठी चमत्कार करू शकते आणि जीवनाचा ओझे आपल्या खांद्यावरुन काढून घेऊ शकते. रामची कहाणी – ‘रामायण’ स्वतः राम आपल्यात राहात आहे.
आमचे भाग्य मोठे होते की आम्ही स्वामी चिदानंदजींना आपल्या डोळ्यांनी पाहू शकलो. आपण त्याचे भौतिक शरीर पाहिले आहे. २०० 2008 साली त्याने टाकून दिलेला शरीर. पण त्याच्या शारीरिक शरीराच्या मृत्यूमुळे त्याचे कार्य थांबले की नाही? नाही. त्याने नेहमीच आपली भाषणं “तेजस्वी अमर आत्मान!” या ओळीने सुरू केली. आम्ही नेहमीच आपण सर्व अमर आहोत हे आपण जाणून घ्यावे अशी त्याची नेहमीची इच्छा होती, आणि म्हणूनच तोसुद्धा आहे.
आपल्या शिष्यांच्या मनामध्ये अजूनही आहेत अशा हजारो कहाण्यांमध्ये तो अजूनही जगतो – स्वामीजींनी आपल्या सर्वांसाठी केलेले अनुभव आणि प्रसंग अधूनमधून.
आम्हाला या कथा मरतात असे वाटत नाहीत, परंतु या कथा भविष्यात येणा spreading्या पिढ्या पसरवून वाचविण्यासारख्या आहेत. तर, येऊन स्वामी चिदानंदजींबद्दल आपली कहाणी / घटना / अनुभव इतरांसह सामायिक करा. आज आपली कथा सबमिट करा. वर्षाच्या शेवटी, आम्ही कथा संकलित करू आणि त्यांना ‘स्वामी चिदानंद एक शाश्वत कथा’ या पुस्तकात जोडू.
